West Elm will be the anchor tenant at 1728 14th St. NW, the property developed by Perseus Realty and design by Bonstra Haresign Architects. The company filed for a permit for interior tenant layout on April 9.

The four-story, mixed-use project has two floors of retail and two floors of office space on 14th Street, between R and S streets, NW.

West Elm previously had a large store downtown at G Street in Penn Quarter and most recently a pop-up shop on M Street, NW in Georgetown.

District Source has learned from an employee of the company that owns West Elm that staff have been requested to stock and prep the store Aug. 12 -21, so you can expect the new 14th Street store to open shortly thereafter.

District Source has requested comment from the leasing team about West Elm’s lease. We will provide more information when it becomes available.
